Dubs help the stars of tomorrow

The work at the coal-face of Dublin hurling continues.

The talent keeps emerging.

The Dublin Hurling Coaching Academy helped to sharpen the touch even more.

247 players took part. They were from the U13 to U16 development squads.

"They got high quality and intensive coaching, and also advice on aspects like nutrition and fitness," explains Colm Burtchael.

"The other positive thing is that it allowed these young hurlers to get access to the Dublin players, and that always leaves a positive and lasting impression," adds Colm.

The Dubs that took part were Liam Rushe, Colm Cronin, Cian O'Callaghan, Martin Quilty, Chris Crummey, Seanie McClelland, Oisin O'Rorke, Glen Whelan, Cian Boland, Eoghan O'Donnell, John Hetherton and AJ Murphy.

"We'd like to thank the Friends of Dublin Hurling for their continued work with this project," says Colm.
