Dublin plan to start on the right note

IT'S all about Donnycarney's Derry Air this Sunday.

Dublin step back into the ring. All eyes on Parnell Park.

The Dublin camogie revolution takes its first steps in public.

Division 1 - in with the big girls. Shane O'Brien, his management and the squad have been putting in the hard yards …. and the miles.

They know they face a steep climb. They are focusing on the little steps Not unlike Derry. Derry won the All-Ireland Intermediate Championship replay in 2012.

They beat Galway. The first game in Croke Park was a thriller. Likewise, the replay at Donaghmore Ashbourne.

Derry won by a point. And they had secured their ticket to the All-Ireland Senior Championship.

Derry's elevation stemmed from the toil that was put in at the coal-face. Their U16s and minors were making strides.

Likewise in Dublin, where the U16s and minors have been humming.

Michael O'Grady firmly believes that the Dubs can also take the road to a better tomorrow.

"It's not going to be easy, but it can be done," insists Michael.
