BALLYBODEN did the five in-a-row last month. Remarkable.
But up on the Firhouse Road, they are not putting the feet up.
Over the years, successful senior clubs in all codes have taken their eye off the ball. There's no chance of that happening at Páirc Uí Mhurchú.
Keeping the blue-and-white river flowing is what will given Boden every chance of staying on top of the tree.
And that means paying attention to the most important sector of all - the juveniles.
This season, Ballyboden won the prestigious Under-16A Championship title.
In the final, they were playing the league champs, St Brigid's, who went in as favourites. But Boden took the prize, even without their injured trio of Cora Ryan, Ava O'Shea and Aobheann Murray.
Boden's side included Under-14s. Stout defending carried the day. Their goals came from Aine O'Brien (2) and Emer O'Leary.
This team has already won the 16A Ladies Football Championship, and they also have Feile camogie honours.
