ST BENILDUS College will look to add to their impressive schools soccer pedigree today when they take on Coláiste Choilm in the Leinster Boys' First Year Cup final.
The Tullamore school stand between Stillorgan's finest and yet another provincial crown at Leixlip United FC (12.30).
Benildus are most famous for provincial success at Senior Cup level, but have also been mainstays of the final stages at Under-15 and Under-17 level in recent seasons.
Their current First Year boys illustrated their promise with a comprehensive 4-1 victory over recent First Year and U15 finalists St Mac Dara's in the semi-finals.
Coláiste Choilm played out a much closer affair with Boyne Community School, Trim, eventually winning 2-1.
