MACADAMIA OIL EXTRACT Shampoo and Hair Mask
I say hair mask rather than conditioner because the conditioner wasn't terribly good, but the mask is. The shampoo really gets the hair clean, so much so that a stronger conditioning treatment was needed - for my hair anyway. Can't beat that Lidl price!
L'OCCITANE 5 Essential Oils Revitalizing Fresh Shampoo and Repairing Mask
Same here: the matching conditioner just wasn't able for the cleansing strength of the shampoo and I could barely comb out my locks after use. The mask is better; both are crazy full of stimulating refreshment, but they are only good for one-day hair.
SHE UEMURA Color Lustre Brilliant Glaze Shampoo and Conditioner
These bad gals are for colour-treated tresses. Following my first use of this, so many people thought I'd just had my highlights done, I'll be using both of these until they are done. The shampoo is sulphate-free, yet lathers up nicely; the conditioner is perfect and super de-tangling. Worth every cent.
CLAIROL 5 in 1 Everyday Shampoo and Conditioner
€1.89/each (200mls) HHHHI
I am stunned at the efficacy of this value combo! I found everything about it comparable to a pricier brand, although I did have a touch more dryness than I wouldn't have gotten from a salon-calibre product. I got a nice second-day 'do, though!
ELVIVE Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner
Yes, seriously, put product on your hair that has oil in it - it is not counter-intuitive. This produces sleek shiny and super clean hair, and both of this pair do indeed nourish your hair. It's a salon in a bottle.
CARINO Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner
Aldi's offering also uses Australian Macadamia Nut Oil, so it clearly is A Thing that is Hot in hair care land. There's a similar thing with the Lidl brand, in that the shampoo cleans too hard, or something. You'll need loads of this conditioner, but you'll have the bonus of a really good second hair day.
Is it false economy to buy your shampoo and conditioner in the supermarket? Are you wasting your money with expensive potions? So many questions -and here are some answers.
