Letters: Bullying no surprise

I’M NOT shocked to learn that seven out of 10 Irish teenagers have experienced verbal bullying. Both my son and daughter were bullied verbally in secondary school.

They were also bullied through their mobile phones, which I believe is called electronic bullying. This is a newer form of bullying but can be equally as distressing as other forms.

Parents and teachers should get together to stamp this out once and for all.
