Editorial: HSE cash squandered yet again
THE latest scandal of HSE-squandered money just piles on the agony for ordinary taxpayers. How could the HSE hand over such huge amounts to Siptu without the proper checks and balances?
HSE funding is meant to be dedicated to providing a proper health service. Even in the boom times, there was never enough for these services.
We have been made aware of the broad outline of the scandal, but as yet many questions remain unanswered.
