DUBS football boss Pat Gilroy put his side through their first 'red-eye' early morning training session at 6.30 this morning, with Conal Keaney (above) a notable absentee.
However, the Ballyboden St Enda's dual ace has yet to commit to either football or hurling at senior inter-county level for the season ahead.
It is believed that Keaney met separately with Gilroy and hurling manager Anthony Daly in the recent weeks and intends informing them of his plans for 2011 by the end of this week.
Keaney played a peripheral role for the Dubs in 2010 - not starting a league game and coming on as a sub against Mayo, Cork and Galway.
He started Dublin's opening Championship clash with Wexford but was taken off next day out against Meath and was utilised as a last quarter 'impact' sub against Tipperary, Louth, Tyrone and Cork.
