Ashley abuse is so sadly predictable

I WAS glad to see actor Ashley Judd (left) say she'll press charges against some Twitter users over abusive tweets she's received. Judd's a supporter of the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team. After tweeting that their opponents were 'playing dirty', she was called the 'c' word and a 'whore'. How sadly predictable. Threats of physical violence, sexual abuse, and stalking are all forms of harassment on Twitter that disproportionately affect women. Judd may have a hard time dealing with Twitter itself, mind you. CEO Dick Costolo (inset) admitted last month that he's embarrassed by the company's failures to eliminate trolls. He told employees: "We suck at dealing with abuse and trolls on the platform and we've sucked at it for years." Right so, Dick. Time to pull up your sleeves then.
