The distraught wife of a man missing since Tuesday has issued a heartfelt public appeal for any information that may help find her husband.
Cariska Dicks (32) last saw her husband Ramano when he left their home at Gyles Quay, Co Louth, just after 7pm, telling her he was going to view his friend's Volkswagen Campervan.
She raised the alarm that night when he failed to return home to her and her five-year old-son Giovanni.
The couple moved to Dundalk in April 2019 to give their young son "a better life" and Ramano got a job at Bellurgan Precision.
Cariska is hoping that there is someone out there who may know where her husband is.
Searches by gardaí are under way and there have been two sightings of Ramano in the hour after he left his home.
"Ramano came home on Tuesday night after stopping off at the shop and also at the pharmacy for medication," she told LMFM Radio's Late Lunch.
"He is a Volkswagen fanatic and was excited to hear that a work colleague had a revamped campervan that he wanted to see.
"I was making dinner and Giovanni was in the shower so he decided to go and see the van quickly as it was nearby. He left his phone behind him.
"A few hours later I texted the man that owns the campervan and he said he hadn't seen Ramano at all. I drove around searching frantically until my son fell asleep and I came home to put him to bed.
"His friend came down and told me to ring gardaí as maybe Ramano had fallen and hurt himself along the nearby beach."
Gardaí have learned of two sightings of the missing man in the hour after he disappeared.
"There is CCTV footage of him walking past the campervan and leaving the property shortly after 7pm.
"Then, at 7.20pm, a man out jogging ran into him on a path along the beach. It appears Ramano grabbed his arm and asked him if there was anyone running behind him. That was the last trace of him."
Ramano is 5ft 10 inches in height with dark blond/light brown hair.
