Weapons seized in bomb probe

Police investigating a bomb attack on a police station in Derry have seized weapons and ammunition.

More than 100 rounds, real and replica rifles, balaclavas and mobile phones were recovered around the city.

The bomb attack on Strand Road barracks happened on August 3.

Yesterday, heavily armed officers stood guard when a father-of-four was charged with the 200lb car bomb attack. Philip O'Donnell (42) faced 12 terrorist charges at a court in the city.
