Yvonne Connolly has told of her excitement at spending her first Christmas in her new house in Malahide.
The model and broadcaster (41) said that she and her three children - Jack (16), Missy (14) and nine-year-old Ali are all set for the festive season after settling into their plush pad.
"We put the Christmas tree up today and we got the Christmas jumpers on and we went to the panto, so it's definitely the start of Christmas," she said.
"This is my first year in the house, so we're really looking forward to it.
"It's in Malahide, and we got into the house in February. I can't believe it's Christmas already.
"It's the first time to put our tree up in the new place, so it's exciting."
Yvonne will be spending the big day with partner John Conroy. Last year she sold the Abington home she shared with ex-husband Ronan Keating for €2.5m.
She chose to stay in the exclusive northside suburb so the children could be close to their school, and bought a house in another luxury estate for a reported €1.28m earlier this year.
"I love it. It felt like home the first night I stayed there," she said. "We're going to stay at home for Christmas. We've gone to different places over the years, but it's the first year in the new house, so it's special."
Now enjoying a fresh start since parting from former Boyzone star Keating in 2012, Yvonne has reverted to her maiden name of Connolly and has been dating cameraman Conroy for the past three years.
She met him while talented daughter Missy was filming a horror movie in Sweden called Dark Touch, which she appeared in when she was 11.
As well as writing a column for a women's magazine, Yvonne has also branched out into cooking.
She was one of the semi- finalists on RTE's Celebrity MasterChef and has nabbed a regular cookery slot on TV3's Seven O'Clock Show.
"I'm doing a lot of cooking and keeping really busy, and because I've been so busy I think that's why the time has gone really fast," she said. "It's good to be occupied, I really enjoy it."
Kildare-native Yvonne also featured in The Family Project on RTE One last year as she fronted her own show. As a mentor on the series, she helped one family deal with the challenges they faced and make changes for the better.
