Volvo to brake free

NEW technology which has been introduced by Volvo Cars in Ireland aims to dramatically reduce the amount of pedestrian accidents. The firm is aiming to record no deaths, serious accidents or injuries by those driving a Volvo by 2020.

Collision Warning with Full Auto Brake and Pedestrian Detection will be introduced with the all-new Volvo S60, above, which was launched in Ireland recently.

The cutting edge safety technology can detect a pedestrian in front of the car and will brake automatically if the driver does not react in time.
