VIPs have the time of their lives at show

Nobody puts Baby in the corner, especially not the Irish glitterati as they turned out in huge numbers for the premiere of Dirty Dancing.

Following its sell out run in January 2012, Dirty Dancing is back in Dublin at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre for a three-week run.

Stars on the pink carpet last night included Ripper Street actress Charlene McKenna, Fair City's Aoibheann McCaul and Aoibhin Garrihy, 2FM DJ Lottie Ryan, and RTE presenters Nuala Carey and Mary Kennedy.

Aoibheann (27), who wore a coordinated flower two piece from Miss Selfridge, said: "Dirty Dancing is one my favourite movies, I'd say I know it off by heart.

"I always said that I'd only ever marry a guy if he could do the lift."

2FM presenter Lottie Ryan was also in attendance with her sisters Babs and Bonnie.

The record-breaking show made West End history as the fastest selling of all time.
