Two men charged in stolen tools case

TWO Dublin men have been charged with possession of €850 worth of stolen tools seized in a car stopped by gardai in the west of the city.

Martin O’Donnell (47), of Tor An Ri Lane, Clondalkin and Martin McDonald (35), of Willowood Close, Hartstown appeared before Blanchardstown District Court charged with possession of stolen property at Ballynakelly Green, Newcastle on April 15 last.

The are also charged with stealing the tools and unlawful possession of a screwdriver.

Mr McDonald is further charged with dangerous driving on the Outer Ring Road / New Nangor Road on the same date.

Judge David McHugh ordered disclosure of prosecution statements and adjourned the case to a date in June.
