Ryan Tubridy's new children's book is set to come out next year and the Radio 1 star can't wait to go on a promo tour in the US.
Known for his love of John F Kennedy, Tubs wrote the story of the US president's visit to Ireland through a child's eyes.
"It's called Patrick and the President," he told the Herald.
"The publishers asked me to write the story of the Kennedys' through the eyes of a child so I went down to Wexford and met a bunch of people who were kids when Kennedy was there.
"I told them to try and think like kids again so I could get a sense of what it would have been like as a child at the time.
"It was then handed to PJ Lynch, who is an extraordinary illustrator and he's putting the finishing touches to it."
"I'll hit Boston or New York anyway, most probably during St Patrick's week in 2017," he added.
