Trio charged with having burglary tools
THREE Dublin men have denied charges of having implements for use in the course of a burglary.
David Mansfield (26), Gerard Connors (26) and Stephen Doyle (31) had their cases adjourned for hearing on a later date when they appeared in Blanchardstown District Court.
Mansfield, with an address at Kiltalown Road, Tallaght, Connors of Bearna Park, Sandyford and Doyle from Cloonmore Crescent, Tallaght, are all charged with one count of possession of implements for use in a theft or burglary.
The items alleged are assorted vice grips, screwdrivers, an axe, gloves and other miscellaneous tools in a JCB toolbag.
The offence, under the Theft and Fraud Act is alleged to have happened at Green Isle Road, Clondalkin, on September 24 last.
Defence barrister Jennifer Jackson said the defendants were pleading not guilty to the charge. Judge David McHugh adjourned their cases to January 15 next, for hearing.
The three defendants were remanded on continuing bail.
