Tiger ordered porn for room at the K Club

TIGER Woods ordered pornography at the K Club, an explosive new book by his former coach is about to reveal.

THE Big Miss, which makes some stark claims about the world's most famous sports man, will blow the lid on the golf star's private life

The book portrays Woods as an egotistical maniac with a warped sense of humour and his conduct in Kildare six years ago is given as a prime example.

Woods phoned the reception at the K Club to order an adult channel knowing that would make his room mate Zach Johnson, a devout Christian, squirm with discomfort.

Woods's former swing coach, Hank Haney pulls no punches in the book with chapters entitled "That d***head Poulter bummed a ride on my private jet" and "Phil Mickelson is a bone idle tub of lard".

The ultra-cool exterior Woods has portrayed has started to slip in recent years after revelations about his personal life. Any questions about Haney's book have been met with frowns and silence from the former world number one.

Force

At this weekend's Bay Hill tournament, where Tiger was victorious and looking the force he once was, Woods was again asked to comment on Haney's book.

In response, the reporter was stared down by Woods and given a sarcastic reply of "have a nice day".

To avoid his fans Woods arranges practice rounds at 6am to avoid masses of autograph hunters, the book says.

Woods's inflated ego may have something to do with his father, who said after his son met Nelson Mandela: "For the first time Tiger has met a human being equal to him."

So obsessed was Woods with being regarded as an athlete, his former coach argues, that he used injuries as a means of being accepted by stars who played more physically demanding sports than golf.

Haney found out on a plane back from the 2006 Open at Hoylake just how impersonal Woods could be. Seeing Woods was in exuberant mood, having just lifted a third Claret Jug, he gave him a yardage book and championship programme to sign. They were handed back, inscribed simply, 'Tiger Woods'.
