Three are taken ill on flight to Dublin
THREE people were taken to hospital after complaining of feeling ill on an Aer Lingus flight travelling from France to Dublin.
Ambulances, paramedics and fire units were standing by at Dublin Airport when Aer Lingus flight EI-533 from Toulouse landed at 6.25pm yesterday.
A spokesman for Aer Lingus later confirmed that one elderly female passenger and two cabin crew reported feeling dizzy and were taken to Beaumont Hospital as a precaution.
Another two people were examined by paramedics but were not hospitalised. No pilots were affected. .
A report will automatically be sent to the Aer Accident Investigation Unit.
It is understood that as many as four cabin crew members as well as the elderly woman felt ill during the later stages of flight about 100km south of Dublin. It is not know whether there was a connection between their complaints.
