That's a bright idea

THE renewable energy investment arm of ESB is pumping €2.5m into a Mayo-based company which makes electronic lighting controls and photocells.

SELC makes electronic digital ballasts which are used in street lighting and ESB Novusmodus said the investment would help it develop its business internationally and increase its production capacity.

ESB Novusmodus says they enable local authorities to slash carbon emissions and energy costs by controlling street lights more efficiently.
