Teenagerwas found in field by owner

A TEENAGER who trespassed on private property was found wandering across a field by the owner, a court heard.

John Connors (19) was shouted at to get off the land, and he was arrested a short distance away by gardai.

Judge Deirdre Gearty fined Connors €100.

The defendant, of Burton Park in Leopardstown, admitted before Dun Laoghaire District Court to trespass at Carrig Lodge, Kilternan on November 6, 2013.

Garda Sinead Murphy said gardai received a report shortly after 6pm that two men were trespassing on a property.

Defence solicitor Ronnie Lynam said Connors was in a field with another man, and the lady of the house told them to get out.

He said the other man shouted back but Connors did not take part in the abuse.
