Teen 'serious' after stabbing

A 19-year-old man is in a "serious" condition in hospital today after being stabbed.

Detectives in north Belfast have arrested four people following the attack in the Cliftonville Avenue area at about 10pm last night.

The teenager's condition is described as "serious", but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, a spokesman said.

The four people held were assisting police with their inquiries, he added.

Relatives of passengers and crew members who died on United Airlines Flight 93 will hold a private service for unidentified remains at the crash site the day after the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

The September 12 ceremony will take place at what's called the Sacred Ground site in the fields near Shanksville, the rural area southeast of Pittsburgh where the 40 passengers and crew members lost their lives after fighting terrorists for control of the plane.

The remains have been kept in three coffins inside a crypt for the past 10 years.
