Team reunion for Bowe at wedding
Ulster rugby star Tommy Bowe and his fiancee Lucy Whitehouse took a break from planning their own big day to kick back at his former teammate Alun Wyn-Jones' wedding bash.
The Monaghan native and his other half, a former Miss Wales winner who now works as a nurse, joined some of rugby's biggest names to celebrate his friend's nuptials.
Big smiles were the order of the day as the gorgeous couple posed for pictures at their star-studded table.
Friend and Welsh businessman Andy Richards posted a snap of the stunning pair online with three other couples and joked that their table was the best looking one at the wedding reception.
Bowe announced his own engagement in April after Lucy shared a picture of her huge sparkler online.
An online frenzy ensued with hearts breaking all over Ireland at the news that the Ulster and Ireland winger was officially a taken man.
The pair are rumoured to be considering tying the knot at the exclusive Castle Leslie Estate.
The Monaghan country house is a popular spot for Irish A-Listers to walk down the aisle and the rugby heartthrob would get to start his married life in his home county.
Bowe posted to his Instagram account to say that it was a great opportunity for a catch up.
The 30-year-old played for Ospreys for years before returning to his native Ulster in 2012.
Mike Philips took a seat with Bowe at the same table.
Philips was involved in a very public twitter spat with One Direction star Niall Horan earlier this year.
The scrum half responded to a tweet from the pop heart-throb after Wales lost to Ireland in February.
Irish singer Niall claimed the Welsh player had a "terrible" attitude and accused him of acting like a child throwing his toys out of the pram. Phillips replied by tweeting: "Come down to training in the week big boy. And bring the rest of the Beatles with you."
The One Direction star declined the offer via twitter claiming that he only bothered to watch good teams play.
