Taxi drivers show Dublin's best side
TAXI DRIVERS Alan Bradley and Bill McSweeney are helping the capital put its best foot forward with tourists who are keen to explore Ireland.
The experienced taxi men set up Taxi Tours Ireland in 2012 and they now have a network of 100 drivers on their books. The company organises private tours of Ireland's most popular tourist attractions, as well as a scattering for speciality trips.
"We are much more personal than a coach tour and we are very good value for money," founder Alan Bradley told the Herald.
"Our motto is that we take you wherever you want to go, our clients can make up their own itinerary and we are flexible if they want to change even on the day," he added.
Having the luxury of spending as much or as little time at any point along the tour is what sets their tours apart, he said.
