Style star Laura 'delighted' over pregnancy
Laura Nolan of leading Irish fashion house Fran and Jane, is expecting her first baby in April with stockbroker husband Ronan Horgan.
The glamorous lady, whose celebrity clients include Love/Hate stars Charlie Murphy and Susan Loughnane, told the Herald she and Ronan were "delighted and excited" with their baby news.
The creative director of Fran and Jane, established by her mother Fran in 1974, married the stockbroker in a lavish ceremony in Castle Leslie in November 2010.
Laura's father, George Nolan of Nolan's Seafoods, gave the bride away.
Laura's famous grandfather Vincent, who played the piano with Frank Sinatra and other renowned artists throughout his lifetime, died in a tragic accident four weeks before the couple tied the knot.
The Irish fashionista spoke to the Herald ahead of her annual Christmas lunch for children's charities First Step Georgia and the Jack and Jill Foundation which takes place next Saturday, November 30, in the Four Seasons.
The lunch has raised more than €500,000 since it was first held in 2010 and auction prizes include a string of pearls and vouchers for Brown Thomas, Chapter One and the Dylan hotel. Master of ceremonies will be Dublin socialite Brendan Rogers.
Other celebrities who are firm fans of the Dublin label are Miriam O'Callaghan, Mary Mitchell O'Connor TD, stylist Lisa Fitzpatrick and TV3's Anna Daly.
