Strong, bright colour palette on the rails for next spring
Metallics, khakis and ladylike lengths are dominating the fashion scene for the spring/summer season.
Models showed off the latest designs by high-end fashion houses Laurel, Schumacher, Roshi Porkar at the Berlin Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
Scottish actress Tilda Swinton was front row for the Roshi Porkar show held at the Erika Hess Ice Rink in the German capital city, heavily influenced by Japan.
Laurel's show leaned on bright colours, flowing fabrics and tailored suits while design house Schumacher picked out the metallic trend favoured by Jennifer Lawrence and Beyonce.
Up to 200,000 fashion-buyers and experts will mingle at the bi-annual event this week to decide exactly what we will be wearing from the high street come next spring. And a series of eco-shows will demonstrate Berlin's dedication to 'green fashion'.
