Seven months pregnant ... but 10k race is just a stroll for TV star Anna
IT WAS a family affair for yummy mummy-to-be Anna Daly today when the TV3 star went the distance at this year's Flora Women's mini marathon.
Anna, who is seven months pregnant with her first baby, took part in the Herald-sponsored event with her mother Ann and a number of other relatives for Temple Street Hospital.
The Ireland AM presenter told how she usually runs the race every year but this year decided to walk around the course.
"I've roped in my mum, my auntie and my cousin and they're more than happy to stroll with me.
"I would regularly walk 10k with my girlfriends so it shouldn't be too difficult. We do a lap of Dundrum every Wednesday night so I should be fine.
"I've been doing a pregnancy yoga class every week as well," she added.
Anna went on to explain how she hasn't let her growing bump impact on her social life and turned on the style for one of her best friend's hen parties this weekend.
"Thankfully for me it involved a day of spa treatments and dinner and drinks afterwards," she said.
"It wasn't a big boozy day out or anything like that.
"I'm feeling really well and enjoying it. I'm going to continue working for as long as I can up until the birth.
"They've asked me to really concentrate on loads of mother and baby items on the show over the next few weeks. We'll be giving advice to mothers on breast feeding, pregnancy massages and all that kind of thing."
