Ryanair to fly to Paphos

Ryanair is opening its 50th base at Paphos in Cyprus in April.

The company said that it will base two aircraft at the airport there and operate 14 routes to the city, which will initially deliver more than 600,000 passengers per annum.

The Irish airline said that the move would sustain up to 600 jobs. It also announced yesterday that it was adding 19 new routes to Girona, Italy, for next summer.
