Ryanair bid review
THE Government has indicated it will consider Ryanair's proposal to take over Aer Lingus amid the sale of the state's 25pc stake in the former State-controlled airline.
The issue of Ryanair's third offer for Aer Lingus made last week arose at a Cabinet meeting yesterday.
The Department of Transport said it would consider and study the offer. But there is no indications whether the Government is supportive or against the deal going through.
