rory roles up for run as an ugly sister

As the festive season approaches, it's all about deciding what panto to go to.

And the final line up for Cinderella at the Tivoli Theatre this Christmas has been revealed.

The cast is led by TV3 star Alan Hughes who plays the loveable Sammy Sausages in his 21st consecutive panto.

He is joined by Eurovision winner Niamh Kavanagh as The Wicked Stepmother and Rory Cowan (inset) from the hit comedy Mrs Brown's Boys as one half of the Ugly sisters with the outrageous Rob Murphy as Buffy.

And after hundreds of auditions, the lucky girl to take the lead role of Cinderella has finally been chosen.

Molly Lynch, who played Snow White two years ago, will be returning to the stage to take on the dream role as the girl who finds her Prince Charming.

And Colin Middleton who has been performing in panto since he was a child is now all grown up and set to make a very dashing Prince - but first he must find the mystery girl who fits the slipper.

Cinderella will run from December 10 to January 11 and tickets are on sale from the Tivoli Theatre and www.panto.ie.
