Its an idea that could create a storm in a D-cup.

Women are being urged to donate unwanted bras of all shapes, sizes and colours. They will be used to raise money for breast cancer.

Ronan Keating and girlfriend Storm Uechtritz have launched the campaign as a fundraiser for the Marie Keating Foundation, dedicated to providing support services for those with cancer.

"We want all kinds of bras - any shape, any size, any style and any condition", said Ronan.

The Foundation will receive €1 for every bra donated through October.

The money will be paid over by campaign supporters Roche Products (Ireland Limited).

The bras can be dropped off or posted. Full details are listed on www.mariekeating.ie.

Yesterday in the Phoenix Park at the Foundation's Remax Walk for Life, participants were also urged to donate a bra as part of the new campaign.
