Robert Sheehan must have thought his days of flipping burgers were well behind him - but not this weekend.
The Herald can reveal that the actor (27), who is best known for his role as Darren in gritty crime drama Love/Hate, is leaving the bright lights of Hollywood behind him this weekend to cook for customers at a Kerry restaurant.
Laois-native Robert (pictured) will team up with his personal trainer brother Brendan and head south to take up chef duties at The Real Burger in Killorglin - which is run by their cousins Garrath and Jesse Sheehan.
"They were stuck for a bit of work so we invited them down," Garrath joked. "We'll make sure they'll do a good day's work.
"It's just for a bit of craic really and it'll be a good way to attract business," he added.
Aside from their heartthrob chef, The Real Burger is a family affair with brothers Garrath and Jesse sourcing the beef for their burgers from their dad James' farm - just a few kilometres away from their kitchen.
"We're all about making the best burgers out there," Garrath said.
From flipping burgers to filming movies scenes, Robert looks to have a busy summer ahead of him.
Last month, it was revealed the former Misfits star had been cast in the romantic drama The Statistical Probability Of Love At First Sight.
He will star alongside Hailee Steinfeld in the film, directed by Oscar-winner Dustin Lance Black.
The movie is based on a novel by Jennifer E Smyth and will follow Hadley, played by Steinfeld, over a 24-hour period.
