A MAN who decided to visit his ex-girlfriend in the early hours after socialising in a pub has been ordered to keep away from her.
Peter Lumsden (53) was sentenced to five months in prison suspended for three years.
Lumsden, of Ashton Grove in Swords, admitted before Swords District Court to trespass on March 23.
Sergeant Bob Kavanagh said Lumsden had been socialising but at 2am he left the pub and went to his ex-girlfriend's home.
He rang the doorbell but there was no answer so he climbed over a wall and went to the back door, where he saw his ex-girlfriend making tea.
He knocked on the kitchen window and shouted at her.
Defence lawyer said Lumsden, a manager in a firm, was very sorry for his behaviour.
