Liffey Valley is creating 129 new jobs with eight new store openings.

Occupancy at the 450,000 sq ft centre in west Dublin is now almost 100pc.

Timberland has opened its first new shopping centre unit since 2005 at Liffey Valley while footwear brand Skechers, fashion retailer Bank, sports outlet JD Sports and Diesel have all also come on board.

Portuguese chicken restaurant Nando's, Subway and Saburritos will also lease food outlets at the centre.

Shelagh Larard, of Aviva Investors, which is responsible for the asset management of the scheme, said that June and July have been strong months for new lettings at Liffey Valley.
