SHE'S a former pop princess and he's the king of Formula One who've been the talk of the paddock at Grand Prix races in recent months.
Now Geri Halliwell has announced she's to marry Christian Horner, the boss of Red Bull Racing.
The 42-year-old mother-of-one placed an engagement notice in The Times newspaper in the UK.
Their relationship emerged earlier this year as they were snapped by paparazzi on a stroll in London.
Former Spice Girl and F1-fan Geri was later seen with Horner at the British Grand Prix in June, though she met Horner as far back as 2011 when they were pictured shaking hands in the paddock at the glitzy Monaco race meet that year.
Her decision to place a notice in newspaper comes after that of Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch (inset), who placed a similar announcement in last week's paper letting people know of his engagement to theatre director Sophie Hunter.
No wedding date is included in the announcement for Halliwell and the Red Bull boss.
Halliwell - who previously dated Robbie Williams - split from her long-term aristocrat boyfriend Henry Beckwith in recent years.
She has forged a career as a fashion designer and reality TV show judge since the Spice girls phenomenon of the late 1990s.
She has made numerous appearances on shows like the X-Factor and is a judge on Australia's Got talent while she reunited with Mel B, Mel C, Victoria Beckham and Emma Bunton to perform at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics in 2012.
Horner meanwhile last year had a daughter with his ex-partner Beverley Allen.
His Red Bull team which boasts reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel in its ranks was dominant in Formula One in the last few seasons.
However, its fortunes changed this year with the team losing the constructors' prize to Mercedes and neither of its drivers in the running for the title in advance of the last race in Abu Dhabi.
