Red Hot gig planned for Croke Park

THE Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to make a return to Ireland for one night only at Dublin's Croke Park.

The legendary chart-toppers have announced that they will make a comeback to the Irish stage with their only gig in the country. Following the release of their latest album I'm With You, the four-piece band is gearing up to take over the historic GAA ground and will perform for thousands of Irish fans on June 26, 2012. It marks 20 years since their first performance in Ireland -- at SFX Dublin in March 1992.

Tickets go on sale next Friday, November 4 at 8am.
