New figures show that former Ireland striker, Niall Quinn's lucrative media career continues to flourish with his firm recording profits of over €213,000 last year.
Accounts filed by Quinn's Niall Quinn Media Services (NQMS) Ltd to the Companies Office show that the firm's accumulated profits increased by €212,922 from €479,738 to €692,660. This followed 48-year old Quinn's firm enjoying profits of €555,000 in 2012.
A regular football pundit on Sky, the former Ireland striker said yesterday that he enjoys the punditry "and I don't go for the shock jock approach".
"You get that approach in Gaelic Football, rugby and soccer here, but I don't believe Sky want me to be outspoken and throwing players to the lions in what I might say."
Quinn (inset) said that Sky are using him more this year than any other year.
"I really enjoy the work. It is nothing like playing but it is a very good alternative and I have the best seat in the house at the best games," he said.
