Prostitutes working on beach in daylight

CRIMINAL gangs are forcing prostitutes to work during daylight hours on an Irish beach.

Gardai have stepped up patrols in a seaside town amid reports that the eastern European gangs are selling sex.

A number of complaints have been made to gardai in Bundoran, Co Donegal, by men who were offered sex by women handing out calling cards.

When we called the number on the notes yesterday, a woman said in a foreign accent: "You call me Friday for sex on beach. No problem. Do whatever you want. My service is €200."

One eye-witness told the Herald: "They were being followed by three men and it was clear they were their pimps.

"I was handed a note which offered full body massages. I asked where she was from and she said Romania and said we could 'do it' on the beach or in my car. I politely declined."

Garda Inspector Denis Joyce in Ballyshannon said they were investigating the incidents.
