Progress for NCC

THE NATIONAL Competitiveness Council (NCC) said that Ireland's "competitive scorecard" is improving but the country needs to push ahead with further progress.

Council chairman Don Thornhill (right) said that employers and business owners need to relentlessly continue to work to improve Ireland's competitiveness. "Ireland cannot aim for just being good enough, we must strive to be world beating in all the areas essential for competitiveness," he said.
