Post offices 'can save €53m'

MINISTERS have been urged to increase the services available at post offices after it was revealed that it could save taxpayers €53m.

Presenting its case to the Joint Oireachtas Committee for Transport and Communications, The Irish Postmasters' Union general secretary, Brian McGann, explained how making motor and household charges payable at post offices would also increase business by 8pc.
