PARENTS TOLD: 'DON'T BUY GRAND THEFT'

PARENTS have been warned by a school principal not to buy computer game Grand Theft Auto V for their children.

The game which features lapdancing and drive-by shootings should be struck off Santa's Christmas list.

Caroline Mhic Roibin, principal of a Mullingar Gaelscoil, has written to parents advising them of the game's X-rated features.

"This is a game where players visit strip clubs, get lapdances, pick up prostitutes,'' she said. The teacher took the unusual step as the game rocketed up the bestseller list.

The note from Ms Mhic Roibin, came after she heard children in the school playground saying it was number one on their Christmas present list.
