A NEW Irish bookshop has opened up on the site of Waterstones in the Jervis Centre -- creating 14 new jobs.
Hughes & Hughes has opened up in the 6,000 sq ft pop-up store selling books, games, toys and stationery.
This is the seventh store opened by Sivota Ltd, the company now trading as Hughes & Hughes.
The shop will officially open on Saturday and writer Paul Howard will be on hand to sign copies of his latest Ross O'Carroll-Kelly novel, Nama Mia.
It also marks a return for the bookseller to its roots in the Henry St area, where Derek Hughes opened his first shop in 1984.
