ALAN Steenson has been appointed editor of The Herald.
A long-term member of the Herald team, he first joined INM as a freelance sub-editor in 1996 and became a senior sub-editor in 2001.
Mr Steenson previously held the positions of Assistant Editor and Operations Editor, before being appointed as the paper’s Deputy Editor in 2012.
