Neigh joke as horse brought on to Luas Red Line
A horse leaps on to a Luas...
There were some long faces as commuters on the Luas Red Line were saddled with an unusual passenger yesterday afternoon.
The horse was calmly brought on board at Belgard, Tallaght, by its owner, who attempted to ride the rails to the city centre.
However, the driver spotted the four-legged animal and was forced to say "neigh" this time.
Guide dogs and other smaller dogs are the only animals allowed to travel on the tram. Luas operators said they were investigating, while passengers said the animal did not appear to be in any distress.
