THIS is the scene of the fatal crash in Dublin where a motorcyclist lost his life.
The motorcyclist and a lorry collided near an industrial park on the Park West Road in Clondalkin at around 12.45pm yesterday.
Ian Brophy (32) of Rathminton Close, Tallaght, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the collision – contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01 6667600.
Meanwhile, Andrew Davis, a father-of-two originally from Wales but who was living in Knocknagree, Co Cork, died in Kerry General Hospital yesterday afternoon from injuries he sustained in a crash.
Mr Davis was driving his car when it was in a collision with a lorry in the village of Rathmore.
Early today, a man in his early 20s was seriously injured when his car crashed at Drimroe, Tubbercurry, Co Sligo at 3.40am.
