TURKISH Airlines is to increase the number of flights from Dublin to Istanbul from next month.
The airline currently flies to 220 destinations in 98 countries and is planning to add another 40 routes in 2013.
CEO of Turkish Airlines Ireland, Murat Balandi, said the Ireland-Turkey link is growing in popularity.
"We have experienced an increase in demand from Irish people wanting to travel to Turkey – for both business and pleasure," he said.
"We expect to see a significant increase in Irish travel to Turkey with the announcement of our additional flights and I am delighted Turkish Airlines is making its mark in Ireland."
