Modelling's in the genes for Kerri and little Kayla
MODEL Kerri Nicole Blanc's ador-able daughter proved she's a real chip off the old block after turning on the smiles for a photoshoot with her mum.
Little Kayla (3) looked the ultimate pro as she posed for pictures in the grounds of Malahide Castle.
Kerri (24) said: "She's already had three or four jobs and she loves it. She's a character, full of confidence."
Although she has clearly inherited her mum's looks, the Andrea Roche agency model said she wouldn't harbour any dreams of Kayla becoming a model.
"I think I'd rather push her into being a doctor than a model, but if she keeps getting jobs while she's young I'm happy with that," she said.
Kerri , originally from Co Kildare, became a mum at 21, but said that having a child hasn't hampered her ambitions in the least.
She's been swapping tips with Pippa O'Connor on what it's like to be a model mum and they both agree it's a more flexible industry than most.
Kerri said that the variety of the work and the short hours make it relatively easy to organise around her schedule.
Model boss Andrea, who gave birth to baby Sophia in March, has a number of working mums on her books.
As well as Kerri and Pippa, Sarah McGovern Vaughan and Ruth Griffin have all made being a model mum look easy.
Kerri said: "Modelling suits being a mum so much more than people think.
"The jobs are short and Andrea is so understanding now that she has a baby.
"Pippa and I were just chatting about being working mums the other day and she was agreeing with me that it's really easy to juggle both jobs.
"There are a few of us who work with Andrea who have kids, so it's nice to be surrounded by people who understand."
Although she became a mum relatively young, Kerri said she wouldn't change a thing.
"I always call Kayla my miracle baby and she's already my best friend," she said.
Kerri and Kayla were at Malahide to unveil details of this year's Wonderfest featuring children's theatre and animal displays, which takes place on August 16 and 17.
