Only a few months ago, Conor McGregor was telling Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show that he was still living at home because the money wasn't rolling in.

However, Ireland's top UFC fighter is in for quite the pay day after his one-minute-46-second fight against Dustin Poirier last weekend.

The Crumlin native has reportedly earned €120,000 for his winning fight.

When the figures are broken down, he earned €1,130 per second for his 106 second fight with his American opponent.

The 26-year-old partied in style following his win - hosting an Official Conor McGregor Fight After Party in the Hyde nightclub at The Bellagio hotel in Vegas where an Irish tricolour took centre stage at the venue.

IMPRESSIVE

It looks like he put on quite the spread, posting a snap of the impressive presidential suite that he was sharing with his girlfriend Dee Devlin, his coach John Kavanagh and his family.

McGregor is certainly a hit with his Irish fans.

Almost 10pc of the crowd at his fight on Saturday were Irish, and at home the delayed coverage of McGregor's fight, which aired on 3e on Monday night, was a huge hit with viewers.

3e's coverage reached an impressive 317,400 individuals, with an average of 76,600 viewers for the explosive contest - almost 8pc of the viewing population.

Earlier in the month, 3e agreed delayed free-to-air broadcast rights in Ireland with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) for delayed access to all pay-per-view events from America and Europe.

The two-year partnership will also see 3e broadcast the main cards from nine UFC events from Europe.

Following his win, Conor says the world title is "next" - a prospect that will have Irish fans crossing their fingers.
