Man on €200 fraud charge over gig ticket
A DUBLIN man has been accused of fraudulently putting a concert ticket up for sale.
John Deans (49) is alleged to have induced a buyer to lodge €200 into his account after advertising the ticket online.
The case against him was adjourned at Dublin District Court.
Mr Deans, of Liberty House, Railway Street, Dublin 1 is charged with unlawfully making gain and causing loss to another through the lodgement of €200 to an account at Bank of Ireland, O'Connell Street on September 30, 2013.
The court heard it was alleged the accused, who is on disability allowance, advertised a concert ticket for sale.
Judge Michael Walsh adjourned the case to for the defendant to decide how he is to plead.
