Man caught at airport 'had weapons'
A YOUNG man has appeared in court accused of trying to bring a knife, knuckle duster and pepper spray through customs at Dublin Airport.
Vincent Clowry (26) is facing trial at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on a weapons charge over the incident.
Mr Clowry, with an address at O'Loughlin Road, Kilkenny City, is charged with three counts of possession of weapons at the airport on October 12, 2011.
Judge Miriam Malone refused jurisdiction to deal with it and remanded the defendant on bail until April.
